North Country Honor Flight operates three to eight flights each year from Plattsburgh to Washington, D.C. For the veterans and guardians on board, the trip is a show of appreciation these men and women will remember forever.
Each flight departs and returns the same day, with all transportation provided to and from the local airport and within Washington, D.C. Every veteran is accompanied by a compassionate guardian, and medical personnel travel on every flight.

Time Is No Longer on Our Side
More than 2.7 million Americans served in the Vietnam era, and far too many came home without the recognition or gratitude they had earned. Our Vietnam veterans are now in their late 70s and 80s, and thousands pass away each year without ever receiving a formal thank-you. We are working to change that while we still can.
